Join the Latin Medical Student Association to provide health screenings to members of the Maranatha 7th Day Adventist Church.
AUC students will provide blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, vision and body mass index screening to primarily Spanish-speaking church members in the Dutch Quarter.
Dr. Shorma Houston will also guide AUC students in taking a medical history and providing feedback to participants.
There will be a required 30 minute training for all students who participate in this event.
All students are welcome to participate. However, students with proficiency in Spanish reading and speaking are strongly encouraged to participate.
