For our Food Market we are registering new participants. We need about 15 volunteers per day on September 7, 8 and 12 from 9 -12 to help with various tasks.
We have another round of intakes coming up and could really use your help.
Dates & times:
📅 Monday 7 September, 9AM–12PM
📅 Tuesday 8 September, 9AM–12PM
📅 Saturday 12 September, 9AM–12PM
📍 Location: Freegan HQ, Philipsburg
We need approximately 15 volunteers each day. Tasks include:
- Registering people
- Scanning documents
- Guiding people
- Conducting intakes (via a questionnaire, in conversation with the applicant, ~10 minutes per applicant)
Requirement: please bring your own laptop or phone, as we don't have enough devices on site.
If you're available, please message me with:
- Which day(s) and hours you can help
- Which languages you speak — English, Spanish, and/or Créole/French
English is enough, but Spanish is preferred since we have many Spanish-speaking applicants.
