Nature Foundation and EPIC are teaming up to keep our island beautiful, and we need your help! Celebrate International Coastal Cleanup day with us on Sep 20th.
Join us at Belair beach across from little bay pond to help remove trash from the area. We will be cleaning up from 7:30-10. Snacks and drinks will be provided, just bring a reusable water bottle and sun protection.
We also ask participants to download the "clean swell" app on their smart devices to help us record what trash is collected, and to make sure we beat last years record!
As part of our cleanup initiative, we will also be collecting type 2 and 5 plastic at Carrefour in bush road for the month of September. Look for our recycling bin leading up to the event, or come find us at Carrefour from 11-2 on the 20th! Donations are also accepted year round at our perpetual plastics workspace in Cole Bay next to burger king (open Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays)
