Slave wall Clean Up and Fruit Tree Planting : This will create a unique hiking and fruit tree planting experience that will add value to our local fruit tree

The first ECO Learning Program for 2026 supported by Slavery Memorial Committee woud like to invite you to join us on this adventure... The Slave wall Clean Up and Fruit Tree Planting Hike is a project focused on bringing different people from different all walks of life to connect with nature, pay homage to our ancestors, reconnect with nature and plant a tree along the way. 

This will create a unique hiking and fruit tree planting experience that will add value to our local fruit tree crop production.

The project can take on interested volunteers on a schedule basis over the next 2 months in the morning hours between 9 am and 12 pm.

Requirements:

Hiking sneakers or boots

Light Long Sleeve T- Shirt

Basic Gloves 

( Please keep in mind we will be in nature so if you have allergies for Jack Spaniards and Bees you may have to be cautious for this adventure ) 

Notice: 

Water and light Refreshments will be available for volunteers.
